Tiki-Ko in downtown Bakersfield pairs a cozy mid-century tiki room with its adjoining Sinking Ship space, giving the bar a more handcrafted personality than the usual tropical pastiche. The house describes it as “a shady place for sunny people,” with classic tiki drinks, original tropical cocktails, and a room filled with nautical detail built by Tiki Diablo and Jorge “Spongie” Reyes.
