The Lucky Tiki - Highland Park

Destination Type
Destination Theme

The Lucky Tiki sits quietly beside the entrance of LA’s oldest bowling alley, Highland Park Bowl, but once you find the secret doorway you step straight into a tight, immersive tiki hideaway. The space leans into glowing colors, carved details, and a playful sense of discovery that fits perfectly with Highland Park’s vintage character.

The bar runs a focused menu of tiki cocktails along with a small lineup of food — Hawaiian pizza, egg rolls, coconut shrimp, and a few rotating bites. The kitchen runs late on the weekends, making it an easy stop before or after a night out.

Because demand is high, all reservations run on a 90-minute window. Everything is booked through Resy, and availability there is exact. Most nights fill early, so using Resy’s “Notify” feature is the safest way to catch cancellations. Reservations release two weeks out at midnight on Wednesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays.

It’s a compact space with real personality and one of those LA spots that rewards people who enjoy the thrill of the hidden entrance.
