McMenamins The Old Hangout

The Old Hangout is the Elks Temple’s tiki-leaning room inside McMenamins’ larger Tacoma landmark, giving the property a darker and more tropical corner than the rest of the complex. It belongs in the atlas because it folds rum drinks and escapist bar atmosphere into one of the Northwest’s most distinctive historic hotel projects.
